Music-on-Hold is the music played for a person when they have called your PBX and are placed on hold.
This music is activated when the " Hold " button is pushed on most VoIP Phones.
There is a default set of royalty free music that comes with our PBX's.
However, should you have specific hold music requirements, you can upload it.
To create Music-on-Hold, follow these simple steps below:
1. Click " Create Playlist "
2. Name your playlist " My-Playlist ", or a similar descriptive name without using spaces.
3. Select " Loud MP3 " as your Mode
4. Select " 16 Signed Linear PCM " as your Format
5. Click on the " Create Button "
You should now see " My-Playlist " in the list of playlists available under " Media " -> " Music On Hold "
6. Now we need to add some music to your newly created playlist. To do this, simply click on the play list name. E.g. " My-Playlist "
7. Then under " Files to upload " select an MP3 or WAV file on your hard disk by clicking on the " Browse " button.
8. Once you have selected all the files you want to upload, simply click the " UPLOAD " button.
After your files have been uploaded this will become an active, and ready playlist for your customers to listen to.
Please Note: If you would like this to be the DEFAULT hold music for customers, under the " Music On Hold " menu,
please make certain that you select the playlist you want as " DEFAULT " by selecting the round button next to the playlist.
