Schedules allow you to instruct your PBX to perform activities at specified times.
For Example:
You may like to establish a " Business Hours " schedule, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Additionally, an " After Hours " schedule can be added for all hours falling outside of your specified " Business Hours ".
To create a schedule, please do the following:
1. Name the Schedule: ( E.g. Business-Hours ) Please Note: NO SPACES in Schedule Name
2. Provide a Descriptive name: ( E.g. Hours of Operation 9 to 5 )
3. Provide a Description: ( E.g. Times our office is open )
Because this is a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday schedule,
simply set the hours of operation in the " Add Time Range " section.
4. Click " Add Time Range "
5. Select " * " for FROM MONTH - This means all Months.
6. Select " * " for Day of Month - This means all days in the month
7. Select " Monday " For Day of Week
8. Select " 9 " for Hour
9. Select " 00 " for Minute
10. Then In the To section, select the same as above. Except change the HOUR and MINUTE to " 17 " and " 00 "
This will setup a schedule for Business Hours. Schedules are used in " Inbound Routes ".
To make use of the schedule you will need to " Add A Time Based Handler ", then select the schedule you just created.
