We greatly appreciate it.
Thank-you!
When considering porting a number into FaktorTel, please make sure that you have a current, active FaktorTel account with no open support tickets. All FaktorTel Residential and Business accounts are able to have a number ported to them, with the exception of trial accounts and prepaid.
As part of the porting process, FaktorTel will disconnect the service that you are currently using to make and receive calls. If you are currently using the line for ADSL, we do not recommend porting your number unless you are changing internet connections.
For customers planning to switch to Naked ADSL, please ensure that your number is kept as a number redirection service and that the monthly fees are not prepaid for any length of time. If you have already prepaid a period of time, you will need to wait for that period to be close to expiry to change the billing period to month-to-month. Please contact FaktorTel for further assistance if you are intending to switch to Naked ADSL.
Next, check that you are in an area that FaktorTel can port from. Chances are, if you are in a Metro area, we should be able to port your number. A complete list of exchanges that FaktorTel can port from is availible here. To check what exchange you are on, please use the Broadband Choice Exchange Search tool. If your exchange is still not listed, please contact us with the number and we can do a quick check for you.
