    Zoiper Classic User Guide ( Post Paid )
    Step 1:

    Once you have signed up with an account with FaktorTel, you need to download the Zoiper Softfone from
    http://www.zoiper.com/download_list.php?os=All

    Step 2:

    Open your now installed softphone by going to your Start Menu, then across to All Programs and Zoiper.
    Click on the Zoiper icon in here and you should be presented with your softphone.

    Step 3:

    Now we need to get into the SIP Setting Menu for your FaktorTel account.
    Here is how to do it:
    Right click anywhere on the phone interface and select "Options" from the menu

    Step 4:

    You will now be presented with Options menu screen. Click the "Add new SIP account" and you will be prompted with typing in a name for the account. In this example we have called it Faktortel

    Step 5:

    You will now need to set up the SIP account to work with FaktorTel, Fill out the fields with the following details:

    Domain: sip.faktortel.com.au ( This is the FaktorTel SIP server address )
    Username: This is your FaktorTel USER ID ( 09 number that you get with your account )
    Password: This is your FaktorTel PASSWORD ( 8 digit password that you receive with your account )
    Caller ID Name: – Leave this blank

    Step 6:

    Next you need to click onto the "Audio Codecs" tab under the "Audio options" menu and you will see a screen like below. Make sure that the only codecs under the "Selected Codecs" are GSM and U-Law, moving other codecs if any to the "Available Codecs" side.

    Click OK at the bottom and you will be back to the main interface of the softfone.

    Step 7:

    Once you have returned back to the main interface of the softfone, you may need to wait for a few seconds to allow the softfone to try and register with Faktortel. Below is an indication of the softfone successfully registering with FaktorTel.

    Quick Numbers you can try to dial to see if everything is working.
    There are a few quick automated numbers you can dial to check that everything is working.
    These are:
    Service Time: 123
    Echo Test ( Hear your own voice ): 600
    Connect to FaktorTel's PBX: 900
    Any Australian 1800 Number: 1800 - XXX - XXX
