Step 1:

Insure the Device has the latest firmware vision, this can be obtained from the manufacturer.

Step 2:

Connect the WIP-310 to a WIFI access point using manufactures documentation provided with both Devices.
Using the "options" key on the main screen, selecting "phone info", will display the IP Address of the WIP-310.

Step 3:

Go to any browser equipped computer on your network and enter the address:
http:///dev (where is replaced by the address that was given to you in STEP 2.

Step 4:

inside the menu on the far right you will see a link which says "Admin Login" Click this link and then click on the "EXT1" Tab

Step 5:

Set the following settings

Line Enable: Yes

Proxy: sip.faktortel.com.au

Register Expires: 3600 seconds

Display Name: "Your FaktorTel userID"

User ID: "Your FaktorTel userID"

Password: "Your FaktorTel password"

Step 6:

Set the following settings

Prefered Codec: "G729"

Dial plan: (*xx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

Click on the "apply" button on the bottom of the form.

Congratulations! Your device should now be setup on the FaktorTel Network.
